Painting the Oregon Coast

Here's another painting from my drive along the coast last spring with my lifelong bestie. The Oregon coast gave us its cliffs and wind and endless horizon but what I’ll remember most is the quiet rhythm of walking it together. Long drives are easy when you’re with a good friend. Conversation can feel endless, and silence becomes comfortable.
This painting isn’t just about the coastline. It’s about shared laughter carried off by the wind, about history that doesn’t need explaining, about the kind of friendship that feels as steady as the tide.
