Painting to Colouring

It's been almost seven years now that I have been painting pet portraits! I started at a time in my life when I needed to be creative, but I didn't have the energy to use my pastels for large still-life paintings. Sharing my love for art with the pet community has been the joy that pulled me out of my creative slump. It has been so much fun, in fact, that I decided to learn the skill of digital drawing to create colouring pages from some of my favourite pet paintings. Colouring is a great activity for stress relief and relaxation. The repetitive motion, the colour palette, and the quiet concentration have been described as a type of meditation that can boost mental health.

This colouring book was created for adults and children and can be used with pencil crayons or markers. Each colouring page has a blank reverse side allowing for marker bleed-through.

Starting as a 5x7 watercolour painting, this cutie was selected for my first colouring book!

Drawn by hand digitally into a colouring page, keeping the shape and feel of the original.

Furever Friends Collection has 30 pets to colour and is currently available on Amazon.

A special thank you goes out to all of my customers who have commemorated their family pet with one of my paintings. Every portrait carried a story, and those stories are what made this collection possible.
